Control panel always crashes! Need Help! getting PO....

  1. Whenever i try to open the control panel, no matter where from (start menu, my computer etc.) it crashes, gives me an error reporting option and then the screen refreshes and closes and windows using windows explorer.

I have heard that this could be cause by corrupted .cpl files and that i would have to individually test each one. Is there any way to get new files or anything? and suggestions would be appreciated.
