Corrupted Sims University!

I can't quite figure this out! I first installed University, and then tried to download a dorm, which didn't work. When I tried to start it up again, it wouldn't. I manually uninstalled it (wasn't available in the add/remove panel), and then reinstalled it. Now The Sims is telling me it was uninstalled. It works and shows up on the computer, but I still can't download dorms. I have nightlife over it as well.

Hmm... I dont know much about sims but when you download dorms does it have a correct "Sims" reading exstension? Some downloads dont work for some games because the game is not able to read it because it's the wrong exstension.. That's why you get that thing "Choose a Application" popup
