You ignorance overwhelms me. Well, at least you can list one idea AMD has taken from Intel's newer designs. There are many more. You should read up on both, educate yourself and perhaps you could make a longer list.

I hope the INQ is correct, but I trust DigiTimes much more. All roadmaps have pointed to K8L in 2008 and Dearhound in Q407. The amount of misinformation floating around is making it hard to tell exactly what is going on at AMD. I'm sure much of it is rumors stated by silly little fan boys and being perpetuated over the Internet.

It would seem AMD is having problems with the 65nm proccess.

The price war continues, Intel announced there new line of processors Core 2Duo microprocessors on Thursday, dubbing the desktop "Conroe" and the mobile "Merom" chips "the best processors in the world". Intel also annouced a 60% price drop in pentium 4 processors and a 40% price drop for the pentium d or dual core processors.

I have a E6300 in transit from ZipZoomFly! I payed $219 for a $189 chip. But heck it will utterly demolish a FX-62 once I "tweek" it.:haha:
I was lucky. I think all retail boxes are gone. Tiger Direct has OEMs, for over the price of retail.

I want a E6700, but it appears that the retail chips may not be as good as the ES chips I have seen. This will hold me over for a while, until prices come down to MSRP and a better stepping is out.

All of the other places have the Conroe, but why doesn't my favorite spot (Newegg) have them?!?!

They had some of the X6800's but sold them all--at a $360 markup. Newegg is changing into gougers. The place is going down hill.
