CPU Running Hot

I7-6700k (NOT OC'D)
H60 Corsair liquid cooling
Corsair 80+ bronze 750w
Gigabyte h170 gaming 3 motherboard
NZXT Guardian Case
My CPU temps are idling at 35-40c, and under semi-load (some fps non-intensive game) they are at 60-70c.
I haven't overclocked anything. Is this bad? I'm very paranoid.

https://ark.intel.com/products/88195/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_20-GHz indicates max temp at Tcase is 64C - so if you are exceeding this then you may want to check your system for issues...

- possible that the thermal paste/pad, etc is old. After cleaning heatsink and top of cpu (I use q-tip, coffee filter and alcohol), apply only a small 'pea' of thermal paste.

- some coolers can be blocked by dust and/or wiring - confirm that the ventilation path is open.

- fans can develop issues - confirm yours is running strongly as temp approaches max.
