Hey guys,

Is there a software that can monitor my cpu temperature? I tried Real temp and Core Temp both say it doesnt support my CPU.

I am running on Intel Pentium D (R) 3.20GHz

Also I removed the heatsink to clean it with dusk off. I was wondering if I need to reapply thermal paste? The thermal paste already on it is kind of ripped apart in half sandwich style.

try HWMonitor from CPUID

yes, absolutely you do need to reapply thermal paste. well i'd recommend it anyway.
arctic cooling's mx series is good. (mx-2, mx-3, mx-4)
arctic silver also has the well known AS5.

for cleaning i would recommend arctic silvers tim removal solution

Pretty cool software, but it only shows temp for my graphics card and Hard disk for some reason. Maybe because my CPU is too old =P Anyways TY!

Two more freeware programs for monitoring cpu temperatures are SpeedFan and Everest Home Edition. If the processor is anything like my P4 (3.4) slot 775 Prescott its handy to reassure yourself about temperatures. They are far higher than you are likely to see with a graphics card.
