Hello all,
I've recently purchased an Nvidia nForce 790i Ultra motherboard, along with a second Ati Radeon HD 5750. I also bought DDR3 memory just so people knew I meant business! My initial plan was to implement crossfire on the new nForce motherboard, and I'd be set. However, after I bought the nForce motherboard, I found out that it only accepts SLI, not Crossfire. I felt like a complete ***** for not realizing that.
I've heard that some people used certain specially made drivers; or some drivers from Dell, to implement Crossfire on nForce motherboards. If anyone knows if this is true, or if anyone knows how I can use these cards on the nForce motherboard, please let me know.
Thank you
