Crossfire X and three monitors?

  1. I have been reading that the new crossfire X (catalyst 8.3) drivers allow people to use multiple monitors in crossfire X. I have also heard that you can only use two monitors while in crossfire mode. Google has had little to say about this except one review that ran two monitors in crossfire mode. So what I want to know is:

Can you run 3 monitors with crossfire X enabled??

Thats what I figured unfortunately lol.
If anyone has crossfire HD3870's or HD3850's and some extra monitors I would be extremely greatful if you could try them.

Well, I posted this question on the Rage3d fourms and got an answer: Crossfire X can NOT do three monitors - only two as of 3/16/07 (idk about the 4dvi asus HD3870x2 though).
