Crysis 2? I've still been looking for the hardware that can get Crysis 1 to run smoothly in full dress at 1680x1050. I haven't seen a video card yet that can show this game with 60 FPS average frame rates. (My minimum standard for smooth and playable frame rates.)

I tried to play the game on my computer, and got my bum handed to me by the AI every time my frame rates slowed down.

    *sigh*

If you can't run Crysis on your rig, I recommend Far Cry. Far Cry owns IMO and is the poor man's Crysis(and is absolutely excellent in its own right.) Far Cry 2 is demanding like Crysis though.

I still hope to get an E8500 + GTX 260, I'm not going to build a rig more powerful than that just to tame Crysis. 50 FPS is very respectable, especially if it never goes any lower than 50 FPS in Crysis.

  6. I'm proof that Crysis would be a generic game if not for the graphics usage. I got this site looking for high end PC information. I know nothing about them other than my brother built one and I played Crysis for 10 minutes or so, I'm a console ***** myself.I'd build a gaming rig but I hate the idea of owning a piece of crap jsut because 6 months has passed by.

  7. I really hope they don't stop making games for PC. Consoles suck (graphics wise).
