Customers complain that Copilot isn't as good as ChatGPT, Microsoft blames misunderstanding and misuse

MS owns 49%, OpenAI owns 51%. OpenAI is in full control of their company. I have a 49% investor in my own company. I still make all the decisions.
Yes - hence the “basically”… you don’t think their 49% gives them any insight as to how ChatGPT works?

As a procurement officer, I initially found Copilot to be effective upon its release, but over time, its performance deteriorated. I utilized Bingchat for price checks and compiling results into a table, which saved me hours of work by easily pasting it back into Excel. However, after about a month, it began to only check the prices of the first 5 or 10 items. Copilot is lazy

Well, it's suppose to mimic "American workers", so it has the LAZY part down I guess /sarcasm

When I was with HPE I worked with MS a ton. They are slow to do most things.
They may be slow... but they're not stupid... They don't have a trillion dollar market cap for being fools... Most big companies are "slow" - but the good ones still get things done.

At some point, ChatGPT will surely start charging for using their service. So for those that enjoy using such tools, enjoy while you can. To sustain such service cannot be cheap because not just do you need the hardware to process and store data, you need massive amount of power and resources to keep it running.

"Enjoy while you can". Why is everyone's mindset these days, that everything should be free?

Well, since it's Microsoft, they're at a disadvantage right from the start just for being MS. Ive been using the extremely illogical iOS and the clumsy, *****ic Android for over 3 years now because MS lost the Mobile battle, and I still have all kinds of issues with both systems but hey, that's what the mostly ignorant masses want!! The again, who needs the artificial intelligence most??
