D-Link DIR-655 and Vista connectivity

Hi,

I have a D-Link DIR-655 wireless router and recently tried upgrading its firmware from v1.20 to v1.21.

However, once I had upgraded it, all of the laptops in my home using vista connecting wirelessly can no longer find and detect the router.

My Vista desktop can still connect to the router and get onto the internet via a LAN cable.

My XP desktop, which is connecting via wireless, can also detect the server and onto the internet.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Regards,

ileisl

Have you tried going into Start>Control panel and then Device manager. Then uninstall the laptops network card but don't uninstall the driver (if there is a tick box that says Do you want to uninstall the device driver? - make sure there is NO tick)

Then restart the laptop and allow it to automatically detect the router and see what happens.
