D3D Error After SP3 Update

    Hello,
    I have just installed Service Pack 3 for XP, when I try and run a Source game through steam I receive the D3D Error and game closes. I have a couple questions, if I update my Video drivers and they fail for some reason, will the roll back driver button simply put the driver back the the previous version I have now? Also can I do a restore point to get rid of SP3 and the games should work? This is the only item I downloaded within two days that would mess this up. If you need anything else just ask, Thank You In Advance
