D620 processor into Inspiron 1525

    Does anyone know if a duo core processor from a Latitude D620 will work on a inspiron 1525? I looked through dell web site and forums but didn't find anything?

    any help would be appreciated.

    NP831 Processor,T5600,1.83,2MB Napa Refresh Merom,L2

    Processor is ,T5600,1.83 gig Core duo

    my inspiron current processor is a Celeron 1.86 gig

    well you can buy a inspiron 1525 with a T5600 in it. so i say if you take the T5600 out of the Latitude D620 and put it in the Inspiron 1525 it should work
