Daily BSOD on XP PC - Event ID: 1003

  1. I have a user that has been getting daily blue screens for the past couple of weeks. I did hardware and memory scans and found nothing. The event information that I could find points to some sort of driver problem but not sure what that could be. I have included the last 2 minidump files to see if anyone can point me in the right direction to solving this.

    Your issue is with your Symantic security software. particuarly the driver symevent.sys. We have lost count of how often this driver/software has shown up here over the years. Try the following...

    1. Update.

    2. Uninstall, reinstall, and then update.
