Damaged memory card has scratches on little metal strips

hello my name is kelly and I have a severe problem thats breaking my heart. I have a memory card that was full and while I was removing it from camera it shot out and dropped on the floor. now it reads memory card error. the photos on it are forever irreplacable. they were pics of my mother and I and my son and just five days after a family reunion I lost my mother unexspectidly. many of our last pictures are on that card. does anyone know anything about recovering those pictures? please help if you can the card has over 1000 pictures after it was damaged i noticed lines on the tiny metal strips that are not on any other of my discs i hope this is afixable issue thanks guys

Try the memory card on another computer... You really have to try real hard to damage these memory cards

I am sorry for your loss. I understand.

If another computer doesn't work you can try cleaning the gold strips with a pencil eraser
