Hi,

I want to upgrade my PC as some components are getting pretty old, i.e. the mobo, cpu and memory. I want to get a Core 2 duo CPU and motherboard, only I don't want to have to buy the RAM, cpu and mobo all at once.

So my question is can ddr be in a ddr2 core 2 duo mobo?

Thanks

Wow somebody is pissed off today Tedster.

Thanks for the guide though. But I believe I have seen some boards that accept both, I just thought there may have been a list.

Thankyou, that is exactly will be what I am looking for, I just can't check it out right now.

You are a lot more helpful than Tedster, thanks vnf4ultra.

I had the same board as Mirob, actually I still have it, but its now got a Pentium D in it as I took the C2D that was in it and slapped it in a new Gigabyte board. I had no major problems with it, and it was/is stable - just don't expect to overclock much.

Ok,

Thanks for all the help everyone (except Tedster).

I can't have a look at them right now as I am at work, and I forgot to last night (duh). But I will look tonight.

Thankyou.
