Deleted images

As an experiment, I tried to recover some deleted test .jpg files on my
SanDisk ultra card, using their own recovery software "Rescue Pro" which came with it. Result, total failure.
I also tried Serif's "Search and Recover" but again failed to find any.
Wonder if this recovery software is any good at all? Views?

Best not to review Recovery programs when you are trying to recover your specific data (on your system or drive), that may be too corrupt to recover now anyway.

There are may other alternative softwares though like this one (free for up to four folders down) or many others here

By using so many Recovery softwares you may then be able to give a personal choice of the best one (ideally that worked, in your case)

Thanks Kimsland, have downloaded the free ZAR version
for future use (I hope not).

I use Zar
I contacted the programmer, and after many emails he gave me full licence to the program. I argued that I could do the same with free products, it's just that I liked Zar and its performance. I also stated that I'd let others know how I felt.

But, the 4 folder levels for free is generally all that most require ie:
C : \ Documents and settings \ userprofile \ My Documents \ My sub folder
1, 2, 3, 4 Folders down, for free. Seems pretty reasonable.

Agreed; even more impressive, I thought, is their "always free" offer for digital images!
