Deleting individual IE autocomplete entries

By sinbaram

  1. I would like to delete individual entries in IE's autocomplete list (e.g. I once typed www.googe.com and it now keeps showing up). Other than turning off autocomplete (which I don't want to do) or deleting the whole lot and then starting over, surely there must be a way to delete specific entries?

I found an earlier thread: http://www.techspot.com/vb/all/windows/t-26496-Editing-IE-History-List.html

But the work-around there also doesn't work for me.

Anyone found out how to do this?

    Muchos thank yous!
