Dell 5150 not picking up usb

After having a BsoD on the above computer, i managed to fix hard drive but, when PC reboots the usb mouse and keyboard don't work. Driver problem or something else??

Any yellow exclamation marks in the Device Manager?

Likely a driver problem. I would be sure you have the latest BIOS update (A38 or I5I50A38), then download and install the two chipset files, R58370 and R66367 from the Dell Inspiron 5150 site.
If you have trouble, disable the current drivers then reinstall the new ones.
