Greetings Guru's

I can't play Medal of Honor - Airborne. I'm devastated.

Alas...my XPS Gen 3 now appears to be an old man ...or maybe it just needs a little surgery but this surgeon needs your help

The Radeon XT800 card appears to be a PCI-E. I'm pretty sure it is.

I can remove the graphics card from the slot BUT...there are some wires also going into a little black box on it. The box has the mark: P5
These wires do not appear to be able to be removed.

I don't know where these wires go to...they get bundled up with others and disappear into the depth of my computer where I darn't even look. Yes..you're right....The Abyss scared the crap out of me.

Anyway....I know I shouldn't just cut these wires with a pair of scissors.
That would be plain stoopid.

What should I do?

I'm completely flummoxed

Please look the card over again carefully. The only wires may be power wires from the power supply, or wires from a fan on the video card itself. These wires can be unplugged from the video card
