Dell Latitude D620 sound drivers

Hi hope someone can help out.
I own a Dell Latitude D620 service tag 2B9PN2J.
I recently had to format the hard drive and so along went all my device drivers,
i have been able to download all but sound drivers.
even from the Dell Drivers and Downloads site the following sound driver R171789 available
for my laptop does not work where else can i download a sound driver that works or which
other generic sound driver can work with my Dell...please help

The drivers should be on the Dell site. What operating system are you running? You may be able to get your sound back by running Windows Update

Tmagic650 thanks for the reply I am running windows XP service pack 2.I will try the Windows Update and see what happens
