Dell makes $3 million in sales through Twitter

  1. Dell says it has generated more than $3 million in sales that can be traced back to people responding to its Twitter posts. Sure, that’s a drop in the bucket for a company with revenue of about $12.3 billion in the first quarter of this year alone, but it suggests all sorts of possibilities for how the service may earn companies some money and is particularly interesting considering Twitter has yet to find a viable business model.

    now to make some profit,twitter will also start charging companies
    i dont think it is interested in providing free services to such companies.
