Dell On A Rampage

  1. The Dell Keeps erroring Once a month since it was bought (Basically Blue Screen of Death), the final payment is coming up and my friend isnt going to pay it until they fix it... Theres a weird sound from the speakers... My friends Dell Specs:
    2.80ghz Intel P 4 w/ Hyper Threading, 1 GB of RAM, 80 Gb harddrive, Btx cooling, 128 MB Video Card, Windows xp Media Center 2005

    zip up the minidump and send it as an attachment.

    Whenever your computer "STOPS",Windows writes a minidump file,which records all the things happening just before the crash.

    This dump file type includes the following information:

    • The Stop message and its parameters and other data
    • A list of loaded drivers
    • The processor context (PRCB) for the processor that stopped
    • The process information and kernel context (EPROCESS) for the process that stopped
    • The process information and kernel context (ETHREAD) for the thread that stopped
    • The Kernel-mode call stack for the thread that stopped

    You can find your minidumps in the following directory. C:/windows/minidump
