Hello. I have a Dell Optiplex 270 and it keeps BSOD'ing. There have been a few different messages, but I wrote down the last one.

    STOP: 0X0000008E (0xc0000005, 0X804E86cA, 0xF731FAE4, 0X00000000)

Might be video card I am suspecting. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

    Update and new error message

    Same system Dell Optiplex 270...

I pulled the video card and am using the factory integrated on board video. Just rebooted and now have another BSOD with a new error which follows below....

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    STOP: 0X0000000A (0xF906B8BC, 0x00000001, 0x00000000, 0x804E8D74)

Again thanks in advance for any help anybody can offer me.

0xA errors can be caused either by hardware issues or a driver attempting to access an IRQ Level it has no business doing so.

0x8E errors are almost always caused by hardware and is a strong indication of corrupt memory.

Therefore the first step is to test your RAM with the free and completely safe Memtest. This test boots up right after your system's initial boot-up and it takes over.

Keep in mind, this takes a long time but well worth it. The rule is a minimum of 7 Passes and there are 8 inidividual tests per Pass. See the following link: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic62524.html
