I have researched this issues to point where my eye lids were about to drop off.
To put it simply, When 100% of the CPU and ~100% of the GPU are in use, after 15 mins, the system restarts.
The laptop usually rebooted while playing Games or HD videos. So to simulate that I stress tested using Furmark and Prime in order to get to the root of the problem.
When Furmark or Prime are run separately. There is absolutely no issues. However, run them together and it's a whole new story...
I am 100 percent sure that this is a hardware issue as I have installed ati drivers countless times and reinstalled windows 7 at least thrice. (I have also tried turning off ATI powerplay, a known issue.)
Dell came and replaced the GPU and the Motherboard, and to my surprise, still no cigar. I know there is an issue of a lack of voltage...
Has anyone encountered this problem before? I would appreciate any help as this is driving me totally insane :blackeye:
