Dell Vostro 1500 Freezes every evening at 7:34pm

Can anyone provide info on this. I'm running XP on my laptop and it locks up every evening at 7:34pm. It reboots just fine without any other problems. I've run the latest update of my virus software (MacAfee) without any problems, not sure what else could be the problem.

Have you checked your system logs for clues?

You can do so, by going to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and then to Event Viewer, and review all logs (especially with red/yellow tags).

Dell freeze at 7:34pm

I looked but not sure what I'm looking for or at for that matter. There were quite a few logs for each day but I didn't see anything that occurred at 7:34pm (which froze up on me again last night).

Very odd problem...

1) Just to double check which logs, are you checking the your Event Logs?
2) Also check your Scheduler to see if anything is getting started around that time

I'm willing to bet it's MacAfee-related...
