    Hi all

    just wondering what i need to stop my computer from freezing and flashing at the startup LOADING just before i enter my password underneath the username on windows 7pro?
    i have to hold CTrl ALT + delete to force it to go out of the loading screen and into PASSWORD INCORRECT,then click ok enter my password and computer acts normal from there on in!!>?im thinking it could be my small 512ram?
    not too sure?
    Also anything i can buy to turn my pc into a good gaming PC?

    No idea on the Windows 7 thing but if you really want a gaming machine you'd probably be better off starting with a new machine.

    Figure out a budget and work from there.

    Well, you are supposed to have 1GB of RAM for Windows 7 32 bit and 2GB for 64 bit versions so your low RAM isn't helping.

    You neglected to say what kind of graphics card you have. For a gaming PC that is very important. However, that said, looking at the other components it appears that you will have to replace so many parts, you might as well build a whole new PC as JMMD said.
