When I boot a notice appears before Windows XP is loaded. It reads: Desktop:IE6 has been removed from this computer. Do you want to clean up your personalized settings for this program?

When I click No, the notice disappears and IE 6 is available. I would like to removed this notice, it delays the boot into Windows.

Is there someway to remove it? It's bugging me to death.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Thank you for the post, but it does not help me. The work around was obvious and I didn't remove IE 5.5 or any other version. I think it was caused by trying to remove WMP files manually. I really need a fix for removing the error message.
