Whenever I play a game on my machine, the refresh rate drops from 85hz, which is my desktop setting, to the default 60hz. Now this is only something that happens when I use 2000/XP. In Windows 98 SE, it wouldn't change. It's not the video hardware, because I had a GeForce2 Pro and then recently upgraded to a GF4 TI4200. Of course, they do have drivers in common to an extent, so maybe it's just an Nvidia thing. I know the refresh rate changes because if you bring up the OSD on my Sony E400, it'll tell you what the current refresh rate is. Anyone have a workaround or any ideas on how to get my 85hz back when I'm playing games?
