Desktop will not boot, no display, no anything

    So i turn on my desktop and all it does is beep 5-6 times before anything appears on the monitor, then it completely stops all processes. what are some possibilities...

    Hardware fault. Hard to tell what though. But I guess it is the processor or the power supply or the motherboard.
