Deus ex MD no crosshair?

I just installed DEMD and I noticed that there's no crosshair on the screen.
Is it a bug? or it's bc of the "give me deus ex" difficulty?

Probably because of difficulty.

They turn off the crosshair by default in give me deus ex difficulty, because nobody told the devs deus ex had a crosshair apparently. You can turn it back on in gameplay options and it doesn't affect any achievments or anything you would get from playing on that difficulty.
