Device Manager IRQ's the same

Hi,
I hope this is the right section.

I have been experiencing serious crashing and freezing. I was wondering if device manager devices should have the same IRQ numbers?

For example my sound card is 18 along with 2 usb host controllers.

Could this be leading to my BSOD's ?

Yes it's quite ok for sharing of IRQ

I understand it is possible that due to this, on specific scenarios, you may receive an error. Therefore it is possible to manually set the IRQ to a given device, read here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307970

Thankyou for a quick reply. I cant pinpoint whats going wrong. I am getting so far 4 different BSOD and counting. :S
