Differences between 7200RPM and 10K RPM

  1. Other than the price is there a big difference in proformance between a 7200 RPM and a 10,000RPM HDD in regards to gaming?

    Any medium to high end gamer would have to say Yes
    More speed the better

    Thanks for your reply,
    For SATA must I have to buy two HDDs and set to 0
    can I get by with just one Sata HDD if it is 10000RPMs?

    You only need one Sata Hard Drive
    Unless you want Raid zero (requires two Hard Drives - and guess what it's faster ! )
