Difficulty removing Scansoft (PaperPort 7.02) software

    When using the Add\Remove feature in
    Windows Me to remove ScanSoft's
    PaperPort software from my hard drive,
    I receive the following message:

    "The log file 'C:\Program File\ScanSoft\PaperPort\Config\DelsL2ius'
    is not valid or the data base has been corrupted. Uninstallation will not continue"

    What is the sequence of steps I need to tak to remove
    this program.

    Reinstall the application, and then try running the uninstaller again.
