Dim screen

hi have a acer aspire 5335 with a dim screen,screen works ok in another laptop have replaced lcd cable (broken wire ) and inverter any ideas

Maybe the laptop is not giving enough power to display a bright screen?

2 ideas come to mind:

Power cord is not giving enough voltage.

In the battery settings, the settings could be set to save battery power instead of being in preformance mode. Check the settings for the battery to make sure the brightness is all the way up.
