I built a fresh PC, but no screen

Hi!
Motherboard MSI B450 VDH PRO MAX
CPU AMD Ryzen 5500
GPU RX 580 8 GB

BOOT led is on and no screen.
I tried HDMI DP but none of them worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does your motherboard have a post message (like B4, 0D, etc) showing?

If so... google that... can be almost anything - try reseating RAM (if you have multiple sticks, try one at a time), reseating GPU, etc...

There are a few things to check for your new PC with no display. First, verify you've plugged the monitor cable (HDMI or DP) into the graphics card and not the motherboard. This motherboard only outputs video with a CPU that has integrated graphics (like a Ryzen 3400G).
If that's correct, try reseating the graphics card and RAM, and ensure all power connections to the motherboard and GPU are secure. If you have another compatible graphics card, try swapping it in to see if the issue persists.

If the BIOS of the B450 board is old it will not boot with a 5000 series CPU. You may need an older Ryzen CPU to upgrade the BIOS to get it to boot.

Do you get any flashing lights or beep codes while attempting to boot up? Try booting into safe mode using F8 or an external monitor.

Hey everyone, I just built a fresh PC, but I’m not getting any screen output. I’ve connected it to my LG 47" 1080p LED LCD Television purchased through Everything But The House. The TV works fine with other devices, so I suspect it’s a PC or connection issue. Could it be a graphics card, cable, or compatibility problem? Any advice is appreciated!

Could be some of those things. Maybe you could give some specs on what you have that you built, like MB, processor, GPU or graphics card, ram or whatever might be pertinent.
