DirectX unrecoverable error

    Hello guys whats up. Long time no speak.

    I just had a problem playing COD 5 WAW.

    When I start the game it says Direct X encountered an unrecoverable error. The game fails to load.

    I can no longer play. Anyone have any ideas what caused this problem and how might I repair it?

    Id make sure your DirectX is up to date, maybe even re-installing it before anything else. just my 2cents though :)

    Thank you, but unfortunately it didn't work. I sent the computer back to the store for diagnosis.
