The fact that getting vaccinated/boosted "frees your mind from worry" is part of the problem. Those who think they are unlikely to spread the current variant because they've been vaccinated are exactly those who will behave in such a carefree way that they will be more likely to spread current variants.

Well, cold viruses are aerosols, and very easily transmitted. And since you can't spread them until you've been exposed to them, I'd say I have a damn good chance of avoiding, or spreading, covid.
