Disk boot failure: Insert system CD

Hey guys,

I very much a beginner so take it easy on me. lol. When loading up my PC I it hangs on the very first screen prompting me to either hit F2 or F8. However if I leave it for about 3/4 minutes it gives the error "Disk boot failure: Insert system CD", the catch is, I cant find any of the disks when I first bought the desktop.

I have checked the cables on the hard drive are secure, checked there isn't any disks in the CD ROM drives, messed around with the BIOS boot settings yet this makes no difference.

Is there much else I can do to troubleshoot?
Im guessing I may have to buy another system CD?


Any guidance/resolution would be deeply appreciated

It's referring to an internal HardDrive failure, and cannot find the boot sector

Please run a Drive Diagnostics on your HardDrive
