Hi all, Can anybody please help me?.. I have just bought a new monitor so I can now have duel display. Plugged it in and tried to amend my display settings to achieve this but when I OK'd it I was then displayed with 2 black screens saying they were out of range. As if this wasn't bad enough, as I could't do anything with the display I decided to go into the settings in start-up (F10) and changed the graphics adapter selection in there. Now I can't even see the dos start up screen. I switch the pc off and then on but the only thing I am able to see is a quick message from the monitor saying 'energy saving mode' and then it switches off. Is there anyway I can get my pc back up and working??? I feel such an ****!!

    Thanks
    Mez

What is the make and model of your computer. Is it a desktop or a laptop computer?

Hi Tmagic650, Thanks for your response. I managed to sort it out eventually.. I took the battery out from the mother board to reset the cmos and then started from there. All pretty much back to normal now.
    Thanks for your help anyway.
