Dll errors

At startup on my PC I get the following errors and have trouble with my Pc locking up.......Dll C\windows\Acoufx.dll and C:\windows\acoufx %1 windows 32

Do you have "Acoufx.dll" spelled right? What are your complete computer specs and Windows version?

yes I have it spelled correct I tried to copy it straight from the error message.
Micsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Ver 2002
Ser pack 3
AMD Athlon (tm) 64 proc.
3800
1.80 g 1.93 g of ram

Thanks for all of your help. I could not use this because I do not have any Windows XP dis. The windows was preloaded on my pc. so I had to do a system recovery from my PC but it cleared the errors. But I had to reload all of my stuff. I do thank you for your time and help
