  1. hi..
    i have a problems with dmg. file..
    i just download them from this site PERIAN.ORG
    this website is for quicktime component..
    i want to enable my quicktime player to play an subtitle file so i download them..
    but the problems is the file is in dmg type..
    so what should i do..?
    im running windows vista home premium..
    n i also have ultra iso, power iso and iso buster software..
    help me please..

    You downloaded the Mac distribution of this package. Try going back to see if there is a Windows version. That's an Apple Disk Image you've downloaded.

    For Windows I'd use Media Player Classic Home Cinema or VLC to play a file that has subtitles.

    Pretty sure Perian doesn't work on Windows machines.

    Perian does not have a package for Windows, or Linux for that matter. It's solely for PowerPC and Intel Macs.

    DMGs are Apple Disk Images, as stated before by LNCPapa.
