I recently (last week) came across a problem I couldnt find the answer to. Eventually after tinkering around I figured it out(as Im not that good with Vista...still)
Did your harddrive go missing after you backed up ur pc or just disappeared all of a sudden?
if so check this out
right click my computer > click Manage > click Disk Management >
now look at your internal hard drives, does 1 not say formmated or "uninitialized"? If so easy fix to get that hard drive back!
right click, select initlize (format) and blamao let it work its magic( takes a few minutes depending on the size of the drive) Once it's done you should be good togo!
