Download problem with IE 6

    Keep getting the following message "the operation timed out" when downloading a 50MB file. The file starts of downloading OK but after a few hours (using a modem) I get the above message. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I need to download this file ASAP, thanks.

    An easy suggestion would be to get a download manager. I prefer Download Accelerator Plus

    This gives you an option to resume download if it is already on your HD somewhere, so if it times out, you can just hit resume next time you use your comp and notice it has timed out.
