Download speed Qustion

  1. first off sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

    ok so i have DLS and im told i should have 1.5Mbs-3Mbs download speed ,
    does this mean i should be able to download a 1Mb file in one second? or is it just some kind of overall speed?

    ATM i only get around 120-180KBs when downloading.

    You have to divide those numbers by 8. See how you used a lowercase "b" to describe your connection and a capital for your download speed? They are two different things, KB and kb. Capital B is for bytes where lowercase b is for bits. 8 bits to a byte.
