Downloaded a game but couldn't install it

I downloaded a game but couldnt install it. whenever I click and run the file, an error message would appear. it says, " couldn't retrieve instalation folder! instalation will be aborted." I dont remember deleting any files in my computer so I dont know what to do. can someone help me please? thank you in advance.

Could you be more specific with your issue? Where did you download this game from? Was it a digital distributor? If you used something like Steam, verifying the cache may help, but I've never encountered missing installation files before. If it was from some other digital distributor, you'll likely have to re-download the game if something went missing. However, if you downloaded this game illegally, say via a torrent, it's possible the file was never uploaded correctly, and TechSpot cannot help nor support illegal files.
