Downloaded FrostWire and it came with Limewire

  1. I downloaded FrostWire from frostwires website and i loaded it up and it came with a Limewire file so it asked me to update frost wire and it installs Limewire for some reason then i had FrostWire and Limewire and both works fine no virus detected... what i cant figure out though is why it came with frost wire when i never had it in stalled or had downloaded limewire

    I think that it happens to everyone who downloads it, not sure why.

    Hi,

    Your HijackThis log is clean.

    With regards to frostwire, it is an open-source peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing program. It uses the Gnutella network and is heavily based on the better-known LimeWire program.

    This would explain the installation of Limewire.
