  1. Good Evening

Ive searched and searched and can't find an easy fix for this error that i keep getting. I performed a defrag of my c:\ drive and installed some new ram and now keep getting the error:
    STOP: 0x00000050

Ive already run mencheck and left it running for 14 hours and 8 passes with no errors showing do i don't believe it to be an issue with the RAM

Im really stuck for what to do now, if you guys have any ideas would be great, ive attahced a dump file from the last crash, this is the only one i have at the moment sorry.

    Many many thanks in advance.

    Event viewer shows the following:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x10000050 (0xdc980000, 0x00000000, 0x8063ffbe, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini100509-01.dmp.

Check the hard drive for errors by setting a disk check on reboot...

Reset the motherboards CMOS to optimum or default and swap the RAM anyway. What are your system specs? Look at mine in the drop-down box to the top right of my posts, to get an idea of what we need. All computers are not the same you know
