Hi, I just recently removed Windows 7 & installed Windows XP on my pc. But after installing XP the internet is not working. As I believe I am missing drivers. But I can't seem to find them. If someone could help me find them would be really helpful. Or if something else needs to be done to get the internet working if someone can let me know.

I have also put up the pic of the actual drivers missing & my pc specs

I am not that much of a techy person so easier solution would be appreciated.
Thanks

There are only drivers for Windows Vista, the ones for Win XP/7 are only software, not drivers: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...ry&lang=en&lc=en&product=3552403&tmp_docname=.

The specs page doesnt tell us much about the network adapter other than it being a "Standard Adapter": http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ca/e...2133158-12133158-80626463-81048336.html?dnr=1.

Can you show me what is under the "Network adapters" page in device manager?

Alright I would not go with the torrent option if you recommend & here is what appears under Network adapters

1394 is a firewire port, I dont know why it is showing as the network adapter. Try this: Right click on the "1394 Net Adapter", go to properties, and update the driver. Tell me if that helps.

I actually tried that already but the sad part it since I dont have internet on that PC cuz of this issue. It doesn't update

On a side note, I don't know if it is important to mention that I am connecting the internet to this PC through a Ethernet cable which is hooked up to a Dlink Router
