I have an Nvidia 88000 GTS. Recently I noticed my drivers were from may and attempted to upgrade them. When I install them it says the drivers may have not installed correctly and asks to reinstall. When I do this it says I'm not running Vist a32-bit(which I am) and stops. This has also caused problems when I attempt to run FSX:A in DX10 fullscreen, causing my computer to crash. Now it's doing so even in DX9. Vista says it's a problem with the driver. Does anybody know what's really going on and if there are any solutions?

you did remove the old driver first didn't you ? installing a newer one on top of a old one causes issues in some cases.
i recommend that you uninstall and remove the current driver you have installed reboot the PC, this will load the windows generic driver should the hardware wizard appear close it, then install the latest driver that you downloaded, that should fix the problem.
