I need someone's help asap. I am going bonkers tryng to figure out what the heck is wrong with my setup.

Very simple problem in theory.

Sound is coming through 2 speakers instead of 5. Sub is working ok.
When I go to "Speaker settings" and run the "Noise" test, I only get sound from R L.

What gives? I replaced the DIN cable, made sure that I had passthrough selected...

Under "Bit Accurate" it says S/PDIF-In uknown or invalid signal.

Please help

Jeremy

perhaps your setup is running a dolby2.1 config, i'd go through the settings for your card, windows, and your speakers. what din cable are you referring to. s/pdif uses a special cable that resembles an rca type connector.

I am using the 9 pin DIN that come out of the decoder and into the back of the sound card via an adapter that changes it to a mini-plug.
